We're in Negril!!! It's so beautiful here!!!

I thought nothing could top our 10 year anniversary at Villa Sur Mer or the fun filled night at the Luciano concert Saturday night...

But today just did... it was one of the most amazing days in my entire life!!!

My relationship to Jamaica has shifted in the past 10 hours, I'm speechless. I have so much I want to share, so much I want to write.. but I can't even even formulate the words to describe what has happened today.

We are in Mandeville right now! We're at "The Mountaintop Villa" up in the hills! My cousin manages this villa and arranged for us to stay here for one night. This doesn't feel real, I haven't fully digested today's experience or even where I am right now... I don't know where to begin describing the events that led up to this moment... but I'm sitting on the balcony with Markus and this is our view right now!!



I met my family today...a whole lot of them, all came together from Kingston, Negril and those living here in Mandeville! They had a dinner banquet...FOR ME! To welcome me into their family! There were so many smiles, so much laughter and so many hugs. I was so overwhelmed by their kindness, their generosity, their loving spirit... I was in tears!

I know I've said over and over again that this trip has been a dream come true for us. But this...today...this is a dream come true. I never imagined the chance encounter with a relative on my second trip to Jamaica would lead to this incredible day! This was life changing!

I can't believe I'm here right now in Mandeville! I will share the whole story and the pictures in our TR when I get back.

My cousin is driving me back to Negril tomorrow... It's after midnight and I'm meeting more family for breakfast at 7:30, I need to get some sleep.

Manda is already passed out. It's been a long day for her too. lol
