Angel, I've been following posts about this from the beginning. Brasi came up with the idea and started organizing it months ago. As far as I know, Brasi put it all together with the floppers, judges, $100 buy-a-brick program, etc. Hense the name Brasi's Belly Flop Challenge. Not sure what Tattoo had to do with it at all, other than participate as a flopper?

    Bren,

Brasi and Tattoo got involved with this at the same time. Your perception is accurate, but it is not the entire reality. Tattoo slept through the event... (grin)

    Suzen,

There are many legal ramifications involved when dealing with charitable events. There are serious tax implications and those hosting the event can be liable. Through virtually all online monetary transactions involving the US, the USA government has instituted serious laws regarding charitable donations, and there needs to be complete accounting including all the information in detail regarding any charitable organization. If not, the USA will tax any donations at the current USA tax rate.

Please, if you know any legal organizations that are interested, please let us know!

I didnt mention anything about Online monetary transactions...This is about people giving a 100J to a charity organization in person...I see it as no different than when I've went by the soup kitchen and gave them some money (in Jam. dollars) to help out...What does this have to do with US govt? I'm not not trying to write this off on my taxes...
