thanks so much for posting these pictures!!!! I can only imagine how magical it would have been to see them in person. They are beautiful.
I've been assuming the biodegradable lanterns have been used...they contain materials such as reg paper/rice paper, bamboo or wool attachments for support of the flame area...all 100% biodegradable (and quickly) as opposed to some that contain metal....but this question is obviously for those that have used them.
If you are planning to do this for an event...please make sure the products are safe for our sea/land...metals etc take a loooong time to break down & can be dangerous for the environment.
