I am so heartbroken and sad to say that somehow I lost the video I took of Venus for you. I took the video on my phone and it was a full video of the room from start to finish. It even included Sweetness and Clarity who waved to the camera. I was shooting the video and said "Wave to Garysteph" and they were like "Are you on a video conference?!?!?!" lol
So last night I went to upload it along with the pictures I took from the balcony and the video was not there....not sure how I messed that up but there have been some real photo/video disappointments from this past trip, 1 being that I didn't take nearly enough photos especially with all the boardies I met and 2, we lost our camera (the smaller one) at the boardie bash and we hadn't backed up ANY of the pictures we took.....I am still trying to get over that one...had a lot of good pictures on it..I am still heartbroken about that

Anyways. I just saw some REALLY good photos from Venus that Sweetness took and she is about to post them....so from these from my phone and hers, it should still be a good idea of how awesome the view is from Venus. So sad though about the video, I was so excited to show it to you!

GarySteph...ya'll are gonna fall in love with everything there. I was truly lucky to be able to stay there (like, freak occurrence lucky), and I will thank my lucky stars every single day for the experience. I hope yours is just as perfect.

Yeah, we lost it at the boardie bash.....I kept hoping for another miracle like yours but no go....at this point I don't care about the camera but I would give anything for the memory card. It had pics from Chicken Bus day trip including the ones of us on the zipline (the close shots that the guy took). It also had all of the panoramas we took and the really kick butt photo we took of the flaming bob marleys all lined up on the bar. It also had the pics I took at the Bellyflop but of course there are plenty of those out there now. Oh and it had the photos from the sunday Seasplash webcast and then the night at De Bar where we were laughing our butts off......I am still real upset about losing it!
I don't have the pictures, but the memories I will keep forever!

Marley, first thanks soooooo much for the pics! It's very beautiful! I seriously appreciate you taking the time to do that for me! I can't wait to get there. It's all right about the video. I think I would've loved to hear your voices, but I'm guessing Clarity secretly deleted it because it included more than her right eye... hehehe

Second, the bless thing on the table! Too funny! Two things I say all the time "bless" and "whatever"!! That kinda cracked me up.

Third, I am so sorry about your camera. Just keep the faith, and hopefully it'll turn up! I certainly know the pain of lost pics, and like you said you've got the memories... thank God for that!

Awwww.no problem at all. I was happy to do it.
I also had the hubby take a photo of the view from Star just so you could compare the two. I will post that when I get home....but the better view is definitely from Venus for sure
