Let's go Jet Skiing and Parasailing....

I have been to Jamaica too many times to count and have never Parasailed!! I was determined to do it this time. I spoke to my jet ski guy and he set everything up for me and said to be back on the beach at 3:00pm. 3pm came and he came for me in a regular boat and no parasail, I look at him and the guy driving the boat a lil strange like what yall trying to pull?? But they saw my face and assured me that I had to catch that boat to the parasail boat...uuummhhmmm OK misters!! We ride out and I am enjoying my ride and taking some pics.

We pull up to a boat in the middle of the ocean and the guy tells me to hope out one boat and get into the other. HUH? DO WHAT?? both boats are rocking and moving and I can't get my balance and is scared to death. But just like a true Jamaican one of the guys from the parasail boat picks me up...YES I said PICK ME UP from one boat and places me down on the parasail boat....YEP with all of my FLUFFYNESS. WHEWWWWWWW WEEEEEE them jamaican men sure is strong!!

We wait for a while and I am talking with another lady that is going up, it's just me and her. They strap her in and up she goes and over comes Mr. Strong Jamaican...oh sheesh...but he was nice so I conversed with him until it was my turn. I was all set to take pics, but that soon went away when I sat down and they hooked me up!! I put my legs out straight and grab hold of the harness and up up and away I went. OMG, that was the most breathtaking experience!!!! It was so quiet up there and I just felt like I was floating on a cloud. The views of Negril almost made me cry and I was so mad at myself for not taking my camera up with me. And then it was time for me to come back down.....I was holding on to the harness so tight that it was hard to pry my hands open to release.

OOOHHH, how I enjoyed that and can't wait to do that again!!!

Luvs so sorry I never got to meet you....can't believe I didn't realize you were at the Boardie Bash, since I was so bummed that you didn't make it on the bus.

You and your girls look like a lot of fun.....what is that strawberry queam drink.....oh my goodness that looks good!
Hopefully we can all meet up next time for sure.

I went parasailing in Negril a few years ago and I found it (just as you said) surprisingly peaceful. I thought it was going to be scary or thrilling but it was actually the most calm and peaceful experience.

I'm sorry I missed you guys. We would have had a blast. I'm thinking of coming in Dec with the rest of you guys, but I'm leaving next mon to head to negril with my 18yr old niece who have never been out the country.
