Sounds like my kind of vacation, except for American pie. I went to american pie for the first time in February out of curiosity, it is indeed a young crowd. I never went in but for a little excitement or pure nosiness you might call it. I sat at the outside tables to see the sights. I sometimes go to certain spots and realize that I must be getting old. My son can party at some of these places. Young crowds are unavoidable at most of the party scenes. I can't wait to go to ATI in August I will only make it to about two parties. That would be enough for me.

Butterfly: I want to go to ATI so bad but I waited too long and the hotel prices are not in my budget. Praying for a miracle to happen.

Clarity: thank you, that means alot coming from you!! *smiles* Yes he was...I have about 20 pics of him, LOL! And he caught me checking him out and was motioning for me to come to him.....I can't swim so that wasn't happening!!! LOL!!

Let's continue:.... the next morning my phone rings at 8:00am and it is the driver from last night...let's call him *DriverP*. I was just waking up so I asked him to give me about 45 minutes to get ready...he was prompt too!! He said that we were going to breakfast and to take a tour of Sheffield (I have been to, through and past Sheffield many times but I said what the hell!!!) We went to breakfast at this place across from the Fire Station in Negril and had a Jamaican breakfast...I just had callaloo, yams and bananas. As much as I love Jamaica, I rather have an American breakfast but when in Rome...... The food was good, I wish I could remember the name of the place and I didn't take any pictures.

Breakfast is done and we are on our way to Sheffield, he is doing all the talking...and talking...AND talking!! I just listen and nod my head. He takes me to the spring and when we pull up there is a Rasta bathing...I felt like I was invading his privacy, although I know this is the norm in Jamaica. So he kept on bathing like we wasn't there at all and I would take a "peek" every now and then *giggles*. DriverP was trying to convince me to take my clothes off and "bathe" and "cleanse" my soul. UUUUHHHHH mister I just took a shower and I'm good!! We continue to talk and the Rasta finishes and goes about his business and then DriverP starts to undress (OOOOOOOHHH BOY...here we go!!!) and he gets into the water, I just sit on the large pipe, watch him for a bit but mainly take in my surroundings. It really was peaceful there and the greenery was lush and beautiful!!! I was waiting for him to try something being that he undressed right in front of me...but he didn't...that was odd for me because just about every man that I meet "tries his hand". He gets out the water and let's his body air dry and then we are off again on the road.

We stop at a roadside shop to get some water and snacks and then about a while we are back in Negril and we stop at this motorcycle repair shop. Let me explain why we stopped here...during our conversation I told him that I had planned on going motorcyle riding today (somewhat true...I WANTED to go riding) so he tells me about his friend that owns a shop and that he can take me riding..blah blah blah. SO we are at this "shop" and it's about 4..5 men there and only one is fixing a bike...this place looked more like a junk yard, but anyway I am thinking he just stopped by to speak and we can continue our journey...NOT!!! We stayed there for about an hour!!! I kindly but firmly said to him "take me back home and you can come back and chill with them"...be said that "aren't you having fun, this is what we do" I say "I did not come to Jamaica to sit in a makeshift motorcycle repair shop for my vacation".......we go back and forth for a while before I start walking away!! I was ready to GO! BUT...BUTTTTTTT he wants to show me his house...so up to Red Ground we go to his house...I see it...now can we leave and just take me home...I am sooooooooooooo not feeling this!!! I tell him that I am going souvinir shopping and we wants to go with me...NO mister!! Well he takes me back home and says he will call me later and to enjoy the rest of my day. I did not see him again this trip because his "I am a nice jamaican man that wants to chil and have fun" turned into "I am a horny jamaican man that wants some......." NEVER FAILS!!!!

Good report, it never fails when it comes to Jamaican men accompanying an American girl. They always have a ulterior motive, whether it's sex money or something they can benefit from. What a shame. BTW. If you are seriously thinking about going for ATI I have a friend that have apartment rentals on the westend but he also does nightly stays and the prices are very reasonable. If interested you can private message me.

Which brings me to my next story....MOTORCYCLE riding!!! I love to ride bikes...well more of a "hugger" I'm scared to actually drive a motorcycle, lol.

After DriverP drops me off I relax in my room for a while and then decide to hit the road for souvinirs S/N...I day I am coming back home with no souvinirs, they take away from my time and money...but I'm a shopaholic and need therapy, LOL!!. OK back to the road...You all know the usual *meep meep...TAAXI TAAXI....meep meep* and this year there were lots of motorbikes doing the same thing and I say the usual... "no thanks". WELL, this guy stops on a motorbike and asks if I need a ride and I say "no thanks, just walking", but he keeps telling me to hop on and I look at the bike and look at my bottom half and say "all this is too much for that bike" and he laughs........ *PAUSE* All of this trip I have been talking about is hopping on a bike to my girls, but I really wanted to get on a sportsbike...you know the Suzuki's and the Honda's... but this was more of a supped up scooter. So I thought about it a minute and said to myself...well those Zuks do go rather fast and with no helmets or gear it might not be safe so I think this supped up scooter will work and on I hopped and off we went..ZOOOMMMMM!!!!!!

I wanted to go to the big craft market to look for a couple pairs of leather flip flops for my sons and he took me to his sister's shop...but he comes the fun part....he rides me through the craft market on the motorbike SOOOO COOL!!!! We go from shop to shop until I find what I need...oh that was FUN FUN FUN!!! After that we head back down to my hotel and we chit chat for a bit and off he goes!!! I get a call about an hour later saying that him and his folks want to take me and my girls out riding...but they don't ride. I shower and change into my riding outfit (booty shorts and a tube top...would had worn heels but I didn't bring any this time) and I ended up riding out with him and his folks and we stop at a few bars and ride around the Westend and towards Sheffield. We stayed out way past dark...I couldn't believe that after all these years I FINALLY got to ride a motorbike and I was out riding at night...WAY COOL!!!!

I went out riding with him about 2 more times during my stay, wish it was more but it is always next time!!! I can't wait..WOOOHOO!!!!!

One morning we decided that we wanted Alfreds for breakfast....this was our walking day and day of the Flea Market down by the Beach Park. We decided to walk down to Alfreds from the Rayon...just me and SxyATL (shame I can't never remember my sissypoo's screen name, LMAO...luv you sissypoo!!!). We had a nice breakfast at Alfreds and met a lady that does Yoga..I think her name was Jenny or Jamie, but she was telling us how she moved from the states to Jamaica and how much she loves it there. ONE DAY...ONE DAY!!!!!!

After breakfast we decide to walk to town, but we stopped a few places along the way...I think Times Square (told yall I am a shopaholic!!!). And then we stopped at Travellers to donate and paint a brick.





We continued our walk to town and thought about stopping past the flea market but decided to just look from the street and keep it moving. We ran into a few folks that we knew and chatted up a bit and continued on.......we FINALLY make it to town and I go and handle some business and then we go for ICE CREAM at Devon's House....that was our treat for our longgggggg walk. Needless to say we hopped in a route taxi back to Rayon and took a nap!!!!
