Let's back up a bit to BEFORE the trip. Since we planned on being there for so long and planned on going back soon we shipped a box (we had TOO MUCh stuff for a barrel) of items to Jamaica and MsDreadyV (who was there celebrating her 50th for 50 days) picked up the box in Mobay and all of our stuff arrived save and sound. If I had all of my clothes and shoes I would had shipped those also.
*disclamer...I am OCD when it comes to packing and I DID still over pack and had to pay overweight fees....just lay hands on your monitor for me!!!!*
We shipped the items from Atlanta, but most major cities have cargo shipping and you do have to pay duty when it's received...all in all I think we spent about $250 total...give or take. Some of the items we are keeping in Jamaica at the Rayon for our return trips.
