Has anyone done this before? We're very interested in doing this but we're having trouble coming up with interests to put down on the form. I'm a stay at home mom and the hubs works in software development, we are not very exciting , and putting down, computers, reading and talking walks makes us sound like we're filling out a form for a dating website and makes us sound even more boring than we already are! I'd love to hear if anyone else has done this and if so what was it like?

I read about it, but never knew anybody that participated.

Sounds like a nice way to meet people from a different culture.

You will be fine and happy that you gave it a try.

Don't worry about what you put down on the forms.

I'm sure once you meet you will be able to share many things in person with the local Jamaicans.

I tried to participate for a couple of years with me in the media and my wife a teacher. No one ever got bak to us. Good luck!

we did that on another Island, had a good time.....learned a lot...(the people were I think "pre-screened" and well educated)

I did it a couple of years ago. Was connected with a family in Montego Bay who are my friends to this day. I stayed with them in their home for three nights. It was a wonderful experience where I learned a lot. Complete the questionnaire just as you are doing. The informtion you provide will ensue you are matched with a couple who share your interests.
