I don't snorkle but it is a private place with a bar and restaurant, lots of mangrove trees and an island close by so I would imagine it might have good snorkling but worth a visit anyway

Some reviews have said that it was very swamp-like, and others said it was beautiful and secluded.

I have been there twice it is really nice place to relax but i dont think snorkling is going to be that great. The reef has the best snorkling i have found.

Definetly go check it out! Snorkling was awesome! I was quite surprised to waltz onto the beach with beautiful naked ladies lounging about. Nice. Lobster was great, the owner was super cool... one thing was they say "no hassles" but the beach is open to local yuts- kind of uncomfortable moments when I over heard the yuts chatting about they were going to steal my bag and run off with it. Yeah- that never happened, next time talk quieter likkle yuts! Then they attempted to charge me for the chairs- another good try likkle ones! Cant blame them for trying, Im sure they get some people to fall for it...

Anyway- go and see for yourself- have fun!

    Life is all about balance...

great lobster, great beach, great snorkling and beautiful naked ladies certainly balances out a little haggling

I say go and enjoy, just be aware of your surroundings (just like anywhere)

A catamaran comes in several times a week with lots of people who are fed a buffet. If you want to eat, I suggest you come for an early lunch. BTW they leave around 1:30-2:00 and the beach is nearly empty. Very soothing place to relax then.

Yes, my wife and I did. Definately worth the trip in my opinion. Snorkeling was interesting with lots of area to cover. Starfish, urchins, fish, some small coral (not a lot) saw a couple of rays, etc. A party boat came in but was only there about an hour and a half then we had the beach mostly to ourselves again. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We personally were "not" hassled by anyone like would happen on 7 mile constantly.

I would NOT call it swamp like just simply a cove off the main water. Secluded, peaceful, layed back are what I would use to describe the place.
We stayed for sunset and had lobster dinner (excellent) at a table above the beach and watched a wedding on the beach with a party of 3 (bride, groom, reverend)
