Muck- you are so right. I honestly should have known better and you would think I would be tired of having to play mother hen, chef, travel agent and tour guide. This trip was the last and I hope all of you will hold me to that.
Tizzy- This will be a first for us if we go. We normally float the Guadalupe but most of the houses book way in advance. Things are going pretty quickly for the Frio too but I just can't seem to book it. I am still holding out for Negril. Booking the Frio trip means it is real and I really won't be going. I just am not ready to give up and accept that we really aren't going to Negril. Hubs is pressuring me to book soon because we do not want to wait too long and miss out on a cabin. It will be fun but no matter what we do if it isn't Negril I will feel like I am settling
We are looking to stay at Neal's in Concan. It looks like a lot of fun but still just not the same regardless ya know? The dates if we got the cabin would be Aug 6-12.
And I hate to jump on the bandwagon but seriously I am dying over here! Trip report? I have been so intrigued and virtually high-fiving you over here ever since the very first pics of the handsome Rumspringa and Tizzy surfaced while you were still in Negril. Please don't keep us waiting too long you tease!
Marley- First I want to say that seeing you in all of the pictures shows you are just as beautiful outside as you are inside. You are so sweet and your smile speaks volumes lady! When we booked the trip we paid about $600 for our portion of the villa (the deposit) for 6 nights (Aug 4-10). The price more than doubled after everyone flaked. If we could find something somewhere in that range ($600-$800)for an AI/free breakfast, or around half that for a Non-AI, that would be awesome. So far no luck on anything available. Thanks bunches for your help.
I sure hope my Math is right on that. It isn't my strong point. I usually leave that to my sexy mathematician of a husband.
