Chapter 53 – Famous Vincent
Sept 9th, 2010 - Thursday – (Day 6)
As per usual right before Famous Vincent is due to arrive the girls decided they need to go to store and get a few things. Um ok but hurry trust me Famous Vincent will be on time. Minute they leave he shows and takes another 10 minutes for girls to return. Were u worried about wife going to store alone? She was not alone she was with my friends wife who lives in Negril. I am not worried in the least. My friend’s wife is not going to have no problems with hustlers, traffic or unmarked prices at store. She is Jamaican. Got what they wanted and wife gave money to friend to get local price.
Can’t forget when the 4 of us were out somewhere and someone tried to sell her cheap bracelets. My friend’s wife looked at the vendor like she was in shock. The vendor kept trying to sell her. Finally she was no longer speechless. She gave her the look and speech I would give someone if they were trying to sell me some junk in front of a store that had the same thing for a fraction of the price.
We load up the boat and make all introductions and then we are off.
I ask Famous Vincent how has business been at the beach and he says it’s like a graveyard. He would check every day but no business down there.
