Kaiser's Cafe - recent photos

Anybody have any great stories about Kaiser's Cafe? I stopped there last week while on the One Love Bus Pub Crawl as we were across the street at Albiona's. I forgot how amazing this place and it's quite sad it's not being utilized. Not sure what the story is on why the place is not very active. People told me the rooms are being rented but nothing else is being used. I dragged some pub crawlers over to show them and they were all blown away by how cool it was. The pics just don't do it justice.

I recall seeing Yellowman and Gregory Isaacs there 15+ years ago. The place was always crawling with hookers. Ahh, the good old days. I

My wife and I stopped by Kaiser's back in April on our last reach. The gates were open and we were intrigued by the beautiful property. I stopped and talked to the caretaker, Charlie (who also sells bracelets from the security booth). He said that rooms were available for $50 a night, but the pool and restaurant were closed (obviously). I think there were 5 guests staying there at the time.

some Kaiser pics from a trip a few years ago. Charlie (gate keeper) made me some nice beaded jewelry for a great price and let me snap shots around the grounds. No one was staying there at the time and it was a little eerie. It seems it could regain some of its former glory if some money and refurbishing were put into the place. It is in a perfect location and has a great little set up for live music shows.

I wish I had some pics of when it was hopping but I don't think I owned a camera back then. I do love that I can look at these photos and know exactly what time of day they were taken based on the sun and shadows.

it does look like with a little spit and polish and hours put in that it could be a wonderful place, you can indeed see shades of its former glory there..

I saw a couple shows there in 1990, dont remember who, some young guy at one of the shows told me who ever it was was one of the top artists at that time. lol

last reach in Feb I met a couple that were staying there and loving it.........and it was elcheapo.......
