Where is Travelers?? This is our first down and we don't know nothin' Gonna be all new!! and newly wed!!

I take it from your screen name you like Negril....just a itsy bit anyway. Makes us warm and fuzzy that we picked a place that soooo many people do too from reading on this board!!

Yah, I feel in love with Negril at first sight, lol, so for me the name fits, and I plan on moving there next year, or at the very least spending the maximum 180days allowed without being approved for permanent residency, which, depending upon how things go when I get there, I will be applying for.

Travellers Beach Resort is near the river and easy walking distance to downtown Negril, and is Jamaican owned and they are very supportive of and helpful to the local community as well. I have spent many a day hanging out there when I wasn't staying there, and am looking forward to my stay.

That is another reason I'm relieved that I don't have to depend upon Sandals to switch me to another resort of their choosing now that they are closing Grand Pineapple down, what if they shipped me to Ocho Rios or Montego Bay and then I had to try and find a way to Negril for my next two weeks at Travellers after that? As it is, now I don't have to worry about more than taking a short taxi ride when my stay at Sunset At The Palms with my friend is done.

And I just know you will love Negril, it is my favorite place on earth!
