Hey Marley, so I can just turn off the mobile network and bluetooth, put it in airplane mode and turn on Wi-Fi and that's all there is to it? Is there anything else I need to do to avoid roaming-related charges?

If your mobile network is off you are fine (airplane mode does the same thing, it turns the mobile network off)
Then you can use wifi all day long, no charges, just find yourself a place that has free wifi (Sometimes you might just have to ask for the password, or even buy a drink and ask) But thats all I ever do
