If your mobile network is off you are fine (airplane mode does the same thing, it turns the mobile network off)
Then you can use wifi all day long, no charges, just find yourself a place that has free wifi (Sometimes you might just have to ask for the password, or even buy a drink and ask) But thats all I ever do

Hey mrglennzee, I arrive at 2:00 pm on spirit from ft lauderdale, I am in a front seat and have no checked luggage to retrieve, so outside by 2:15 tops.
