Last year we stayed at Merrils II for a few nights. Each morning there was an artist on the beach painting a beach scene. His name was Michael and he would arrive early to catch the morning light. Michael was very pleasant to visit with and had no problem with pictures being taken.

Firefly Resort had a photo contest last summer. I entered the next image of Michael and got 1st place.
