    Re: Hidden Paradise or Travellers?

Having breakfast at BBBarn one morning, looked up and saw this murky mess coming our way from the river, watched it pass down the beach pretty far, didn't follow, but unless you are possibly all the way down at SeaWind, when the river turns there is no escaping it, stench and all. Took a few days to go away, but how often does this happen?

Doc O i don't know how often it gets that bad, probably very rarely.

but at the properties very close to the river, the water gets murky, not necessarily any bad odor, but a funky color, murky and cloudy - with some regularity. i stayed at Trav's for about 10 days, and on about 3-4 of those days the sea water wasn't nice. it's a naturally occuring thing, i don't think there's anything 'wrong' with the water, it's just the natural interface between river and sea. but to me, it's not appealing to swim in when it gets like that.

I have stayed at Hidden Paradise and did not like it because it was not on the beach. I could not rest til i was closer to the water, left 3 days before i was suppose to. have spent months at beach club and yes there is river water some days, usually in the afternoon and clears after a day. on those days you either go down further or go to canoe, not enough of an issue to keep me away from the water. travellers sounds like a 1 stop deal for you. will you have a kitchen? because HP's kitchen consists of a 2 burner, and a small fridge with no ice.
