Dave Escapes....P.N.S, Negril, and the Apparent Event Horizon (a trip report)

Dave has plans for the day...plans and a goal to achieve...These are...Breakfast, make reservations for dinner at Catcha Falling Star, and walk to Cosmo's for lunch...without getting wet...
The latter will be the hardest to achieve because in all the years Dave has been walking the beach to eat lunch at Cosmo's, he has never done it without getting rained on...ever.
"This will be the day, the year, that things will change" he tells his wife...She just smiles and says..."yea right"...she knows.
It's not that rain is a bad thing thinks Dave, in fact in Jamaica it's a good thing cooling things off, slowing things down, and greening things up...He just wants to go on a nice sunny walk, have some curried octopus and a few beers, and walk back enjoying all that the beach has to offer...yea right.

Off to breakfast...check the sky...aware of his surroundings...are things preparing for rain?

Breakfast...Ackee and salt fish and a fruit plate...




Things are preparing for a sunny day...Lizards are basking



Flowers are blooming...




The sky looks OK :-) ...



Yea...Right...
