just bought a american airlines ticket! i had the idea of coming to jamaica in june - but with some hurdles - and serious medical problems arrizing in the family - i wasnt sure it would happen... but i was looking for airfare deals anyways - you know how that goes i am sure.. airfare has been all over the place - as high as 700$ at times.. i was discouraged

well today i got the go ahead from family that it would work out - and i found a ticket from my local regional airport (cedar rapids) for LESS money the ORD (chicago).. i couldnt believe it, so i pushed the button immediately.. flying from cedar rapids for $494 with free checked bag - chicago was 513 + $25 checked bag each way with us air.. i am so happy - ord is 4+ hrs from me - cedar rapids is barely a hour and a half.. : ) so - on june 29th i will be there! just 5 nights this reach - but 3rd trip since 1st of year - so i still feel really spoiled..

anyways - now i am looking for budget lodging..

so far it is down to fun holiday for $46 on orbitz a night or legends for $37 (otel.com - wonder if it legit?)

i like the cliffs, but mi girl i am comin to visit wants to stay on the beach - so this time - the beach

i have stayed on the beach before with my kids - but usually on the west end at the escape when just me = thinkin it might be nice to change it up, so i am stoked to try the beach out

thats 3 times this year - 9th trip total starting with parents in 1991..
not planning on slowing down too much : ) but this year is shaping up nice - i wont deny!

wanted to add that i tried allot of other places in the midst - from maui and oahu as well as cozumel and cancun - jamaica is where ive decided i fit best.. and negril is the place - i like the beach anywhere - but i like negril the town - small enough to feel at home, large enough to get in trouble : )
