School supplies and Children's clothes

We will be in Negril for 3 weeks during Dec/Jan, and now found out 2 other couple friends will be joining us. We all would like to bring school supplies with us to donate to a school in need. Can someone recommend a place that we can drop off the school supplies? We will be staying on the beach at Idle Awhile, so somewhere close to there would be preferred, but not mandatory.

Also, since we can all check 3 suitcases per person for free (@ 70lbs each), we were thinking of also bringing along a few suitcases of gently used baby/childrens clothing to donate as well. The clothes are all still in like new condition, clean, no stains, no rips, and all good quality stuff. Most of the clothes were barely worn twice before being outgrown. I'd love for someone in need to use these beautiful clothes for their children.

Any suggestions of where to drop off the clothing, or is it not a good idea to bring gently used clothing to donate? We do not want to offend anyone if they would prefer brand new stuff with tags, so please let us know what is best. Just was thinking that since we can check several bags for free, it would be a good opportunity to bring the clothes to help some children in need.

St Anthony's Kitchen - provides meals and school supplies to local children in need. The Kitchen was set up with the support of the local Catholic Church in Negril, buy operates mainly on donations from both local people/businesses and from tourists who are inclined to help. If you like, you can volunteer to help out at the Kitchen for a few hours. It is a great experience.

My family is arriving next week! We would love to visit a local school. I haven't begun to pack yet but if I have a suitcase to spare I have many pairs of brand new (mostly girls) shoes that I would like to donate.

By the way, my husband and I stayed at Treehouse in December and had a wonderful time!
