I may be missing something but .........is this really going to speed things up?
Won't the lines to go through security just be more bunched up? The immigration line may be an unnecessary stop but it does allow for people to filter through security. I have never been dealyed at the immigration desk for more than 30 seconds so I guess all this is really doing is putting some agents out of work.
Gonna be buying that VIP pass to Club Mobay so I can go to the front of the line anyway. Now THAT speeds things up!

maybe a likkle......instead of two lines..........you will have one longer line at security.......
but one line is better than two......
that immigration line can get pretty long ass on weekends and happy it's going bye bye.......
overall I would say you are saving anywhere from 5 minutes to maybe 30 minutes without the immigration line......

No matter how long the line(s) get......they can never be as long as they used to be. I remember very well the never ending lines as they hand searched all the bags.

Twister. I remember the days in those long lines. Also, there was no AC and you could smoke in the immigration lines.

    Good question Seveen.

I read the article 4 times.

Sounds like the 3 month rule may be a thing of the past.

Get ticket, go through metal detectors and head to your gate.

I say let the arrival country worry about who they allow to come their country.
