    New Years Eve in Negril

Is it busier than normal during New Years? Lots of things going on? I see there is a reggae & jerk festival. Thats looks awesome!

Getting ready to put my best effort tonight into talking my wife into a New Years Eve trip. She's a tough sell.....lol.

    WISH ME LUCK!!!

NYE in Negril....priceless!!! My favorite time to visit is Christmas and New Years. Usually, there are lots of concerts....however, last holiday season...it was sad to say the least. About the only big name was Luciana at Seastar on NYE, which BTW, was off the hook!! Negril Escape use to have the concert series in the winter yet no more. Supposedly, it was going to be at The Jungle, but the series didn't happen last year. Hopefully, this year will be filled with more concerts.

Either way, there is no where in the world that I would rather be to celebrate a new year than Negril. I am counting down the days for our longest visit ever and have no doubt it will be one of the best ever!! Hope to see you there!!

Oh yeah, bring your appetite...so many great holiday goodies...fresh sorrel, traditional Christmas Cake, along with all kinds of sweeties as well as the holiday spreads of so many great entrees.

Opps....forgot the other awesome concert which again was at Seastar (thanks Chris and Francine) Fantan Mojah (? my spelling). I wasn't really that familiar with him but truly, he was awesome!!! So full of energy! I had to order his cd as soon as I arrived home. If you have a chance to check him out...GO!

Anyhow, it will all be good as long as we are in Negril!!!

Spent the last 4 Christmas and NYs in Negril and will do it again this year. I find it different each year. Little disapointing last year with not much in the way of fireworks, but that will also depend on where you are as I noticed some at certain resorts, just none at Alfred's like years before. Still had a great time. Lots of parties, lots of food, and really really busy. Getting home was crazy, the beach road was a parking lot! Peeps all over the place, was good fun!
