Ya, he will drive you all the way to ocho rios if ya want -- he's a straight-up guy, won't ask for anything extra than the agreed price, and you won't hear any sob stories about wanting money like other cabbies often do .... if you don't hook up, try Shayne. He is utterly perfect, too.

I think Booger mentioned this in his last trip report, but late night drivers can sometimes be hard to find. I got stuck in a sticky situation once when my wife and I walked out of Bourbon Beach on a slow night hoping to grab a taxi back to the cliffs. On this night, the Beach Road was dead and for a while there were only non-red plates pulling over and offering their services. I did eventually flag down a red plate, but it was a bit unnerving standing on the beach road, with nobody around. At times like this it would be nice to have a list of night time drivers in your pocket.
