    Tropical Tours?

Searched the board but couldn't find out a lot about these guys. Hotel is saying this is who they use for Airport transfer but wondering if I should book my own driver. When I check their website it looks like they have busses, vans, and cars. I'm assuming airport transfer from MBJ to Negril would be a tour bus? Anyone have experience with them?

Don't know who they are but I always use Dudley of Big Ship Tours. He meets us at the airport and has cold beers on ice ready.
If you are worried about something, do something about it. If there is nothing you can do, why worry!

Tropical Tours is one of the long time transfer services. Been around as long as I've been coming here... 26 years. I may have used them once years ago. Kind of like JUTA... wait to fill up, then leave airport. One the way back, same thing. You'll leave extra early since they have so many others to pick up. I've been a Clive's customer as long as he's been in business. You get your RS w/ Clive's, too.

they were around even before mi landed in Jamaica back in 1982..........
only a few years ago they use to only charge $10 bucks from the airport to Negril......
sure it is more now.....they use those big ass buses and it takes a while to fill them up.......
so you might wait an hour or so while they fill da bus......and then maybe another hour dropping people off.....
persoanlly I'd rather pay a likkle bit more and spend that extra hour or two in Negril

Completely agree Marko. I suspected that may be the case. Hotel is offering a free ride through them but I think a good driver to chat with and an extra hour or two in Negril is well worth the money. Thanks again all for the responses.
