Last time I was there for NYE was 2008/2009

We stayed at Xtabi that year but we were down on the beach at Alfreds for the fireworks....at the end, we took our taxi back up to Xtabi but the road was a parking lot for sure. It took us 2 hours to get back to Xtabi!!!! We could have gotten out and walked faster! lol
It is definitely busy and definitely fun!
I can't wait!
