Sounds like a great deal. Three people room, food and drink for $120 a day approx. I liked Samsara when I stayed there especially because it is on the cliffs. The food was OK and the pool is awesome! Plus they have a free daily shuttle to their sister property on the beach Legends so free ride back and forth to the beach is a plus for a family. Its in a good location to walk to lots of cool places too. Great security too.

Only warning is they have beautiful tile throughout the property that is slippery after rain so be careful. :-)

I cannot decide if to book air and hotel seperately spending one week all inclusive at somewhere such as this offer and staying elsewhere my second week or push the boat out a little and stay at a big all inclusive, I will get the facilities but not the location plus a bigger price tag

good luck at nickels and dimes......they charge for extras like safe, wifi, guests, A/C, etc etc...
and the food is average......which is being polite

My third option is
same price of the 2 week holiday~ one week all inclusive and one spent elsewhere.For the same price I can buy a 6 week ticket for the summer flight only, so many exciting options

planning is half the fun! My first time I went to JA I got a fantastic deal through Air Jamaica for Samsara and went AI since I had never been to JA and was traveling solo I thought it would be a good option. As Marko mentioned, the food was not good, and we know how good JA food can be. But I didn't know any better. The drinks weren't great either. But I took the shuttle down to the beach and did a lot of exploring--so next trip I had an idea of where I wanted to be and where I wanted to go eat. I never did AI again--but did make the mistake of booking Samsara again years later and they were very rude to local friends visiting. All of that said, they have a beautiful cliffside spot and Choices restaurant across the street is good--plus plenty of other places to walk to. With AI you can also go down to Legends to eat as well. With a kid, it might be a good option--but be careful of those cliffs depending on his age and sense of adventure.
