Unbelievable price! It wasn't a bus either. It was a late model car with A/C. Our driver (Michael) was very nice, even acting as a tour guide for the ride from the airport to Negril.

Good for youFrom what I've heard you dont know what's picking you up with Viator. I wouldn't have the guts to use it.. I am of the belief... in certain things... you get what you pay for & I'll take Rocky any day of the week.

Can I ask when you were at the airport, how you were able to get with them at the airport? Did they have a sign that said "viator" on it or something? I have always done private drivers or Clives, but this year will be doing Viator since my friend booked it, and was curious as to the process.

Justin you posted this in the thread "Changes in Latitude" just a day or so ago. So I'm curious, does Michael drive a new car as you said above or does he drive a late model car as you wrote in this thread?

@negrilaholic, when I booked through Viator, I was sent an e-mail with the instructions to go to booth #8 in the MoBay airport and present my voucher. I don't remember there being a sign with Viator on it.
@garysteph1018, I didn't ask Micheal what year his car was. It still had "new car" smell so I assume it was a late model or new car. Bottom line ... it was not a jalopy.
This is a great deal if you are traveling alone. The car is a newer, late model several years old but in great condition. Very comfortable and is used if there is only 1 or 2 people involved. Cheaper for them than a van or bus, I would guess. Rocky's is great for a group but if alone it's the same $ for 1-4 people 35$ one way or 70$ round trip.
So there's a place we have to go to, Booth #8, got it..hope it's not going to be hard to find, because it's what I've been committed to and have to do, so it's best to grin and make the best of it I guess.
You should get an e-mail when you have booked through viator.com . I think Viator is just the online booking agent. The local transportation company is called "Holiday Services". The booth in Mobay airpost says "Holiday Services" I beleive. In any case, just follow the instruction in the e-mail and don't forget to re-confirm your arrangements a few days before arrival in MoBay and again a day before your depature from Negril. On my departure, I just went to the front desk of my hotel and asked them to call Holiday Services for me and they did. No problem.

I'm going to give it a try, because you can't beat this price. Thanks Justin a lyesse for posting. I'll try it and let you guys know how it all turned out from my experience.
