I've been to Border Jerk Center a couple of times. It's the real deal! Jerk chicken, pork and fish, soup, cold drinks. If you have a car rental or scooter rental it makes a nice day trip for lunch. I usually allow about three to four leisurely hours round trip (including time for stops, picture taking and of course to enjoy lunch). Better yet, combine a lunch stop with another south coast adventure.
If you leave Negril around 10am(ish) you should be at Border Jerk right at lunch time. Prices are quite a bit lower than Negril prices. Round trip from Negril, it's about 100km. Look for Mackfield on a map.
