It was a blast...

I’m sitting here with a bag of ice on my still swollen stingray stung foot (It happened Thursday and it was the most excruciating pain I’ve ever been in)… I’ve gotten sick from the antibiotics I was given for infection, and yet all I can think about is “How do we get back to Negril?” I knew it was going to be a special trip because it was mine & Gary’s (aka Greg... hehehe) first time there… but boy was I in for a surprise. My husband and I went back to the time before marriage & kids… back to dating. We dated for a whole week in the most beautiful place ever. He made me laugh so much, both under the influence and not, that I had to take ibuprofen for a sore throat! It was so wonderful to see him transformed into the 25 year old I met 15 yrs ago (minus some hair & adding some weight). We met the most awesome people… from the Boardies to the Cabbies to the Cleaning ladies. How do I go back to real life… it’s gonna be hard! Gary had to go back to work today, and our phone conversations have been about our next trip. He is different… a good different. It makes my heart smile.

It may take me some time to get up enough stamina to write a trip report without crying, b/c I want everyone to understand how much fun and laughter we had. I don’t want to be all boo hooey in my report ! So be patient… I’m not that great at writing anyway.

I also just wanna say TFW73 and her hubby were an awesome duo to be with. We were "country come to town" in the best way possible, and it was like we had been friends forever. We never skipped a beat!

Aww Steph I'm glad it lived up to expectations and I'm fact exceeded them! We had so much fun with y'all too! We were like the dynamic duo times two haha! It really was like we had known y'all forever! I think CARL has a man crush on GREG lol! That made our week. It doesn't feel the same without y'all. Our running buddies have left us

I would like to hear more about the stingray bite? I never heard of any one getting bit by a stingray. That kind of scares me. How and where did it happen?
