On this last trip that a bunch of us went on in April....we took a day trip all together on Chicken's Magic Bus....getting us all loaded onto the bus everytime was a slow process and at one point BeccaJean said "Jeez its like herding turtles"
The metaphor stuck, and like turtles we plan to return to the same beach at the same time over and over again.

Oh speaking of Turtle references, I found another one the other day
I was reading "Sunset Negril" and giggled at the part in the book that talks about one of the characters heading out on a boat to study turtles
Us turtles x 2 will also be migrating same time, same place next year. Turtle love ♥
