Wake up – think I’ve overslept and that I’m going to be late for work. Look around and wonder where I am…Oh YES…NEGRIL…SMILE {deep sigh}

Get up early and after I realize where I am, not believing it, get dressed, go outside, take a deep breath of that awesome Negril air and take a long walk on the beach soaking up everything. Morning walks are the best.
I'll wake up to my friends calling my name knocking the door really early in the morning, stretch, rub my eyes, turn the music up, put some clothes on and let my friends in who bring a domino set&everything needed to cook a lovely Jamaican breakky.
We play a few rounds of domino, have a good banter, catch some jokes. Then off to the beach! Sweetest thing and oh so addictive - the air, the sea, the food, the vibe, the beach, the feelin of total relaxation and freedom - I'm sure many of you will agree
The first thing I do even before coffee is jump in the water...whether it be the ocean or a pool. I do that because I can't do it at home and it is the best way of reminding me that I am on VACATION IN THE CARIBBEAN! I usually stay for 1/2 hour to an hour and then I start thinking about coffee and breakfast. It kind of feels like a rebirth to get up early by yourself with no people around and slip into the water. I get up earlier on vacation than I would on a weekend at home so I am in the water 7:30-8:00. I love being around before the music starts everywhere so that you can just hear the sounds of nature waking up...don't you just love the sounds of the morning birds!
I will let you know next sunday! Probably go out on the balcony and take in a deep breath and look at all the plants and flowers!
Hop on scooter, roll out to west end pastry shop. I think he opens at like 6:00. Riding early like that is super nice. Get some coconut bread is it? Whatever that stuff is it's delicious!
give the boyfriend a kiss, go out on the verandah-watch the sky get lighter and thank Jah for another day..and sometime "Fire one up"...

I run a great schedule in the mornings ,,,I get up shower then i go for my walk to the out of town pastry shop and back to the sea starr inn,,,then chill on portch with a beer then off to breakfast and a swimm ,,its the only way to go!!
