Again, Wonderful trip report! We are going to catcha at the end of august for my birthday and we are staying in the Gatehouse Cottage. Your pictures are killing me here at work..lol. I am so ready for a break from these insane hours we are working. Really enjoyed your pictures from the balcony of Venus. Brings back good memories! Looking forward to the rest of your report and pictures from Canoe. ( Its good to see some fellow southerners on the board also)

I can't stop smiling thinking about you and your hubby there enjoying the place just like I knew you would.
I love Ardia too, she was actually the first staff member we ever met after Mauvette. I can imagine she must be bigger now as she is due end of September, but she was barely showing when we were there in April....just love her so!
And Mr. Lewis is the best!
I remember when you messaged me about those rude people and I was so upset to hear that. One amazing thing to me about Catcha is that everytime we have stayed there the rest of the guests have been very friendly. It's sad to hear about people being rude and inconsiderate like that! But I am so glad it didn't ruin your trip!

Question... By Yankee - do you mean an American from the North? or and American in general. I know in the south you guys call us Yanks, but everywhere else they refer to Americans in general as Yanks it seems.
