Hey Gerry, you and Poolguy have inspired me with your many frequent visits. And agreed, I have eaten at Bigga's four different times now and I have yet to see a speck. I asked him how many times he changes his shirt a day and he just smiled. I thought of flinging some granny sauce on his shirt and taking a quick pic, but he would pulverize me and that one doesn't need to go beyond a thought.

Anxiously awaiting more!!! Being a retired RN after 37 years and a major dog lover.....I am so excited to hear more! Love, love it. Giving back is so very important in life and especially to an island we all love and adore. My most treasured event as a nurse, was a 6 year old Jamaican child that had a severely burned hand. Somehow, it all worked out with time and the wonderful blessings of the doctor I worked for at the time, our local hospital, and the major help of our state's senator at the time. The true highlight of my entire career and life. So, blessing sent to you and your lovely wife for taking time to give back. Please carry on and tell us all about it. We are all waiting patiently............ Love our Jamaican pups!!

Yetta, you are so right about giving back. I do a lot with my work however I could always do more on my own. How much is your free time really worth? Only you can answer that, but for me it's an easy decision as the reward far outweighs the sacrifice.

Eden and Wypogi, I was able to capture some great smiles this trip of Pooper. This hubby needs to constantly earn points as I'm a little out of control. And if I see Harry the owner of Catcha on my next trip I'll even offer to do the vanity swap out myself for a beer or 12.

LOL, I overdid it as usual on this one and have laid low today so my body can recover. And while the little things keep things going, the big things play a key role as well.

So after a loooooong day on Friday I was hoping to get some sleep deep into Saturday morning. We also hit LTU the previous night to hang with Aubie and friends, so it wasn't exactly an early night.
My body is programmed to get up no later than 8, however I was able to sleep in till after 10. The bed in Pisces is really comfy and with the cool air from the AC I slept like a baby. Pooper was still in bed so I set off to Ivan's to grab one of their killer breakfast burritos. Kaneisha is now working days now and it was nice to be able to chat with her a bit. She had family moving into Star that day and she was extra happy for the day to unfold. I was fortunate to meet her family and hang out with them in the pool as well as at the bar that night before and after the Seastar show. Good peeps......

We met a cool couple from from the East Coast and the hubby was a Naval officer with a witty sense of humor. Wait till you see his pic and tell me who he reminds you of. We ended up hanging out quite a bit over the next couple of days and had a great time with them. Here's a hint: "You've waited too long and now you are in the 'friend zone.'"

So off we go up to Seastar with our new found Friends and make our way to pay up so we can stand up. The ever gracioius Chris cut a deal with the folks who volunteered for the clinic, so the great value of a show became a super value of a show. Alright, where's my buddy?


Ran into my buddy Shaky and I was glad to know Pooper's dance partner was in the house. The show started and next thing you know we are sitting up front rocking out to Steven West. And out of the blue he calls Pooper up on the stage and they sing a few lines together. Pooper did really well and even drew a standing ovation from the crowd. She sings better under pressure than she does around the house and did a great job.

Here's the rock star right after her duet. Steven West sings every show like its his last and I love taking in his shows.

We took off shortly after Pooper sang and headed back down to Ivan's. While the guys at the bar get a ton of attention the ladies make it great too. Here's to Rasta and whom I think is Karen, both nice and fun ladies.
