I am loving this report for so many reasons Booger, but my two favorite reasons are
1) You are bringing to light a really great cause that you both participated in. Your story, pictures and recount is putting this event in the spotlight and will hopefully encourage more to participate and offer their time and/or money to a very worthy cause which is awesome!
and
2) I know how rewarding this was for both you and Pooper. I know how much of a dream come true this was for her, which also speaks volumes about the great person she is (correction: you both are) She has both texted AND told me the story of you wrestling the rottie numerous times, and each time she tells it with a great big smile and loads of excitement. I love listening to her talk about it over and over and hearing how happy she is. You did good, man
So I am going to put it out there. I gave away every collar and leash I have. If you could find room in your suitcases when you come to Negril it would be most appreciated if you could help me replenish the stock. Most common are small and medium size collars and leashes. People ring my bell all year round to get them so it would be nice to have some more. The buck stores are a great place to buy them. If you can please contact me when you reach and and I will be happy to pick them up...thanks for all your support with this project I could not do this without all the wonderful dog lovers that come to Negril...I can be reached at moonlightvilla@yahoo.com or 876-845-5996
Consider it done! I will be back in December and I will bring some then!!![]()
What a fantastic report!!! Booger/Pooper it is so evident the passion you have for animals and how great of the both of you to be apart of such a wonderful cause. That German Sheppard almost sprung tears to my eyes while I read your report. I do hope that he finds a wonderful home if he has not yet. I'm inspired and I will in fact look into volunteering the next time I'm able to make it to Jamaica. Looking forward to reading the rest of your report.
So beautiful!
Debbie- You are a sweetheart and if it wasn't for you we would have never known about or made the trip. Also, sorry we missed you as I didn't have wifi at BCC and received your message at the airport. I was also made aware from several cabbies that this isn't the only cause that you volunteer for and that you are quite active with the community and for that I have the utmost respect. Thank you.....
For all of you who have made the nice comments, thank you and I know if you are touched by this that you are just as caring. Keep in mind that there were roughly 30 other folks who worked there tails off, some for all 3 days. I could hang out with these folks all day long. And Manda I agree, there are all sorts of ways one can volunteer there time. I'm sure Rob and Lisa can give you some ideas if you hit them up. One I have read about and would like to do is volunteering at the kitchen that feeds some of the less fortunate. And if the time is not there to donate a little money will go a long way.
Sandie's nickname Quickdraw was given to her for her ability to slap a muzzle on from behind in record time. It is cool to watch her sneak up and with a quick motion the dog is muzzled before they saw it coming. Great way to keep all 10 fingers......
Very good report! Thanks for sharing.

I also want to thank StuckintheUSA for your help with the clinic. If it was not for men like you we would not be able to run these clinics...TRANSPORT....
I am sure you hear that in your sleep for a few days after the clinic. Your help moving the animals from one place to another is very much appreciated. I do hope you read this.
