I stayed at a beach side standard room 2 years ago. The rooms are small with a bed and small fridge taking up most of the space. There is a small table and couple of chairs on either patio or balcony. Road noise is more of an issue the farther from the beach your room is. Go to bed liquored or tired and noise becomes a non issue. To give you an idea of the size, think about the smallest motel room you have ever stayed in and the White Sands room will not be quite that big. Paul mixes pretty good blender drinks though to help you sleep. And what I always say is; once your eyes are closed, does it really matter how big the room is.
