    Something Romantic?

So i am getting married in Negril in Febuary and i am trying to find something really romantic to do one day or night. I would love to hear things other people have done to get some ideas from. Thanks John

I haven't done it yet but have it reserved for our anniversary in December. The Night of 100 Candles at Ivan's at Catcha Falling Star on the west end. Do a quick search and you should find other posts about it.

Has anyone ever done the candle-lit cave dinner at The Caves? Do you have to stay there to do it? Looks real romantic if your into that kind of thing.

We've stayed at The Caves, but passed on the cave dinner. Too humid in there for us. Looked cool though. I believe you can book it as a non-guest if it's available, but it's very expensive, probably a few hundred.

Take a ride (about 30 minutes) past the lighthouse to Jackies on the Reef. It's a fabulous place, totally quiet and peaceful. Get the oceanside couples massage. We think they have the best masseurs in Negril, and you will feel as if there is noone else on the planet! Afterward you can relax in one of the natural seawater pools, and get wonderful food and drink at the outdoor bar. All good and good for you! Here are a few pics (not the best, but you get the idea - it's a lovely retreat. Name: Jackies1.jpg

Negril is one of the most romantic places on earth, you can hardly take a step without encountering another romantic possibility. Here are a few of mine -

Sunrise coffee on the pier at German Bar
Sunrise coffee on the sofas at Canoe, looking at the pier at German Bar
    Long walks on the beach
Long walks on West End Road
    Sunset at Sir D's
Roaming the grounds at the Westender
Finding a secret spot in the cliffs and making it yours (there are many, I can give you a few if you like)
    Swimming in Josephs Cave
The Rock Table at Rockhouse for dinner
    Exploring the caves at Xtabi
Getting a room with a private verandah
Getting a room with an outdoor shower
Eating a fresh soursop together and cleaning each other up
Packing some fruit in a knapsack when you venture out so you can take advantage of that "Perfect Picnic Spot" you just stumbled across
chaise lounges at the cliffs edge late at night
Sunset and the night of 100 candles at Ivans

For trips I would recommend Percy's Riverside Retreat, Mayfield Falls, YS Falls, Pelican Bar and Half Moon Beach

Have a great time and love it up!!
