When I went grocery shopping this morning, I was amazed at just how many Jamaicans and "wanna be Jamaicans" were wearing the colors of the Jamaican Flag and a few, of course, Bolt Jerseys!
Now that I live in Jamaica for much of the year, this showing of National Pride actually brought a tear to my eye. Few, if any, people from other countries seem to have that spirit (and show it) when a National Holiday in their native country is happening. I am proud to be a transplanted Jamaican!
Big Up to Jamaica, Her People and long may Her spirit continue.
