Be careful when it comes to choosing the resort, my mom's wedding in Jamaica was almost a disaster because the wedding dinner we were forced to have was Italian. Nothing like badly done pasta and lasagna in really hot weather to make for a memorable meal.

That resort has since lost all of our family's business as well as our friend's and they did very little to make things better.

Also we lucked out but you might want to make sure if they have a DJ that they have working equipment(we had to bring out own) and look for a resort that actually puts you all together, some resorts are notorious for not putting you and your loved ones together in the same block of rooms.

Weddings in Jamaica are fun, I'm tempted to get married somewhere tropical simply so I can have an excuse to get a nice white suit.
