10 Day Weather Forcast - Say It Ain't So!!!!!!

A ten day forecast for Western Jamaica? LOL

Here's the forecast. Sometimes it rains and sometimes it doesn't

I wouldn't worry about that for another second! I found the mid-day tropical showers to be quite enjoyable. Have a wonderful stay~

It is the rainy season, so it's very possible that it will rain each of the next 10 days.

That said - usually you will have beautiful sunny mornings with clouds rolling in early in the afternoon, and then possibly some showers for an hour or two. While we love the sun, we find the afternoon showers to be refreshing. Just roll with the flow, and you will have a great time!

a clear day shower (no storms) is a great way to play in the shallow water and slip drink tropical drinks to "warm" up, while listening to the rain on the leaves and roofs...you will do things you never have done before.......it wouldn't be the Island it is without rain,embrace it..

thanks everyone, I love the "usual" afternoon showers - great time to hang out at the pub or take a nap - even bubble around in the hot tub - just don't want it to be cloudy the whole day the majority of the week, which is how the weather forcasts seem to be depicted -

As one of our Jamaican friends said regarding his daily forecast....partly sunny, partly cloudy, with chance of rain". That seems to sum up the weather every day except maybe during tropical storms or hurricanes. It will all turn out good, you're in Jamaica!! Some of my best days there turned out to be in some of the worst weather. Crazy, but I guess it made me slow down a bit and really enjoy the present. Have a wonderful time!!

weather 'forecasts' are 100% useless. don't even bother looking at them, you will only stress yourself, and they give no actual useful information. they ALWAYS say 'chance of rain'. It's the tropics. it can rain any time and every day - or not. there is no way to know what the weather is doing until it's happening in front of you.

it's also hurricane season right now - that means the reality is, that a possibility exists at any moment for a storm to show up - or not.

just go and have fun... rain or not you'll have a great time.....!

we have stayed on the cliffs and had very little rain for 10 days, at the same time it rained over the beach every day for a hr or so.........same way....... pour across the street while you stay dry on the other side....
