So we are having a birthday party tomorrow for huz and it has a Jamaican theme (all part of my campaign to get back to Negril). Every day this week I've stopped by a different store to pick up some Red Stripe and alas, nobody has any. This afternoon I called all around the state (and the one immediately north) and nobody has any. Did the factory burn down or something? At least I have Appleton for the rum punch.

In other news, I have a rum cake in the oven and I'm about to start making the coconut cupcakes (which I will decorate with tiny toothpick Jamaican flags), patties and marinade for jerk chicken.
Now to finish our playlist and hang up these flags...
