We were scheduled to leave tomorrow at 10:00 AM.
There's a tropical wave that will become Issac and is heading for Florida.
I'd hate to put the house/pet sitter in a position to deal with a problem. I wish I could wait another 36 hours to make a decision but we need to decide now.
Besides Miss G has a seminar to attend starting Monday. (she's going to be a flower show judge)
To make up for it we just added 5 days to the Christmas visit.
The family is disappointed but they understand.

I've noticed that water surface temps are increasing a touch, that 1st wave is interesting, but the second wave doesn't look like it is going to have any upper level winds to knock it down. Been watching these maps for years, not at the proffesional level you had to use Captain, but some days it's akin to watching paint dry, I would be interested to hear a running commentary from someone with your experience as one of those depressions wanders accross the Atlantic.
I have won many awards in a lifetime of competition and service. But the highest was offered without plaque or fanfare on a hilltop in post Ivan Jamaica. A true Rasta and a dear friend observed "Chet you are like a father of men, you see need and fulfill that need without being asked". Let us be travelers and not tourist.
Oh man, hate to hear that but truly "overstand". On the good side, you will be there longer for the holiday! Yeah!!! Can't wait to see you guys again!! Were you able to get the additional days at SS? One of our good friends from Jacksonville is staying at SS, so I know we will be down that way. Please feel free to come up to Catcha Gardens and visit us. Would be great to have you guys up to just hang out and visit again. If by chance you can't get a room for the additional days, call Jane, or Joan at Catcha Gardens and see if they happen to have a room. Jah guide and I pray that no problems will occur at your home.
