I know just what you mean...the first time it happened to me, I was walking in Sav-La-Mar and I heard someone calling my name. Initially, I didn't respond - after all, I was in a foreign country, surely there was other Susans...but then I looked up and it was Del from Green Leaf going by in a taxi, waving out the window "I'll see you tomorrow! Welcome back!" Now stuff like that happens every time I come, but it never gets tired.
