Confused with Boardie names..anyone else?

Is it just me or am I just forgetful? It seems like there are a lot of "new" boardie names over here but from the posts I don't think they are new...but then again I think it is throwing me off with some people not having a profile pic when they post...I think I am one of those people who can remember a face but not a name....I guess it's just weird because I was so used to seeing certain names with a photo for so many years and now I'm all confuzzled

And I am the first one to admit I changed my pic when I moved over so I guess I shouldn't complain. Maybe I just need some ginko biloba.

I know of a few name changes but I think most have kept the same names. Also I think that some of the regulars from the old board just couldn't handle the change in software and may have sought other places to post. This happened the last time the software changed as well. Many of them eventually returned.

The only constant is change.

What really confuses me is facebook because there are real names on there and I have called people by their board names for so long lol.

I personally got lazy, I clicked on the facebook integration and it took my full name, oh well, I'm just leaving it that way. JoeT = Joe Trinidad.

I have had the same name since I started, but have changed my profile pic a number of times. I was concerned that another boardie, with a similar name as mine, might post something that might cause controversy, and I would get the blame. So far, that has never happened and I mean no disrespect to the similarly named boardie. They probably would have the same concern as me.lol

Well, truthfully I did start out as 'Jack Sprat'...but most of you wouldn't remember that....it was wayyyyyyy back....lol

I do think that a lot of the regulars as Ras W mentioned, haven't made the change over due to the new format. Others have dropped off over the years for various reasons, and I think they are just lots of newbies too.

But, just in case you wondered where the name came from....

The new board is one big confusion to me,but that's my problem.I use to check the board so many times a day and now, it's just a chore for me.Hopefully I will adjust eventually,but don't think so

Oh yeah northcoast...I forgot all about that....mmm, memory lapse. I think I was rebelling at that time....lol, but then I found myself again...

And I do think that was a board format change then also!
