Since we are staying at Catcha I thought I would ask if anyone knows a wood carver that has a shop / stand on the west end. I have only visited a couple stands in that area and can not remember seeing a wood carver.

There are vendors and carvers down in the market by the roundabout that have Negril just like your Jamaica done I have seen them and they also will stop and make a custom piece in a day or two, even the giant elephants, alligators and rasta stumps they get done in 3 days. I have seen many of the Dragonfly's down there also. Go to the back row of the market literally half way down on the left it is just across from the juice shack where I know for sure these could happen. This carver is great and he works hard he is right there..

Thanks for the info Shelly. We looked around a little in the craft market by the roundabout two years ago. We only managed to hit a few booths before we were overwhelmed.
