SHARKS >>>Seafood>>>Restaurant>>>Tell me what you know

I have tried to search and have found very little info on Sharks Seafood in the archives. Due to the name being Sharks makes it tough to search for. Noticed many people have mentioned it as a favorite place to eat. I know where it is located but other than that I have nothing.
Do you have any personal experience eating at Sharks?
    Whats good?
    Ballpark prices or comparisons?
Any information is appreciated and I will try to repay you by telling you all about my visit should of course you recommend i go.

Sharks is next door to Alice's and across from Catcha Falling Star. It is a nice small place. I have eaten there a few times and the prices are reasonable and the food is good.

We ate at Sharks a few times when we were there this past April...It's a very small place directly across the street from Tensing pen, and as Nick said, next to Alice's. Ras Roddy's on the other side is another interesting place to eat. We had some great reasonably priced lunches at Sharks...curried conch was great, snapper was good, I don't think you will go wrong if you stick with the seafood. Nice people there too :-)

been going to Shark's since 1996 when it was located on Summerset Road...
now it's located on the main road and still serves some of the best food in Negril......
the owner/chef is still Juliet and it's a delight to eat at her establishment.........
of course like many places in Jamaica.........everything is made to order so patience is key.......
any Seafood dish there rocks plus her Chicken dishes(her Brown Stew Chicken is wicked) are out of this world........
prices are reasonable and in line with most places in the area........not expensive

so many places, so likkle time..........

Shark's is great and very low priced.

We had snapper and coconut creamed vegetables and it was delicious. My hubby says probably the best fish he had in Negril. I don't think our dinner was even $20!

Agree with all the positive comments. As with Marko...been going there since on Summerset Lane. Highly recommend her pan fried snapper. Totally awesome...she will also grill it and add sauces of your choice. My husband asked for a sweet and sour sauce poured over his...I asked for an escovitch. Really good food at reasonable prices.

A year or 2 dated but one of the hhoks to me was the cold beer. Do not know how he was holding the exact temp but when he would open the beer there would be ice chrystals in the neck, not frozen spewing beer, just ice chrystaled teeth snapping cold beer.
I have won many awards in a lifetime of competition and service. But the highest was offered without plaque or fanfare on a hilltop in post Ivan Jamaica. A true Rasta and a dear friend observed "Chet you are like a father of men, you see need and fulfill that need without being asked". Let us be travelers and not tourist.

Had dinner there about two weeks ago with friends (steamed fish and jerk chicken) and it was very good. Love their fresh juices too, we tried mango (very nice with ginger!) and soursop!

We have been eating at sharks for years, Juliet is a great cook and Shark a wonderful host. She has a standard menu but will cook anything you like. If you want something different let her know mid afternoon so she can be prepared and have the necessary ingredients.

Juliet is a great cook and saved me from starving last august, you know late evening too many beers and most places done for the night. She said she would make me what ever I wanted, and I left it up to her, it was some of the best curried shrimp I have had.
