I am new to the message board, but have been to Negril a few times. We stayed at Legends the last 2 times we were there. We may stay there again, but I was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions. We are not interested in all-inclusives.

try Tree House or Seasplash for beach or Xtabi, Seastar, Catcha Falling Star on cliffs
I second Treehouse. Also on the beach check out the Charela Inn and CoCo La Palm. On the cliffs I highly recommend the Blue Cave Castle.

Rayon Hotel. Sunset On The Beach but the beach is kinda busy there since it's the first hotel on the beach.

We've stayed at Kuyaba many times and its our personal favorite. Xtabi is a great value on the cliffs. We've enjoyed several stays there too.
We liked Negril Beach Club Condos NBCC Make sure if you go book with Jean Gaynair and get the condo side. Check out their website
All great suggestions! Haven't stayed on the beach for several years now but don't forget about Catcha Falling Star Garden....right across from LTU. Nice place with new pool, great staff and reasonable prices! Give Jane or Joan a call or email them if interested. Quite nice folks to deal with too! Here is the website if interested...
