first timer questions?
Looks like our trip for negril is back on again for next year.have got a good offer of 5 nights in boston and 10 nights in coca la palm for €3100.so a few quistion is it very quite in june july.i know there will be some rain but it wont rain all day will it?
Is it expensive there we have been to cuba barbaods st lucia, d republic, aruba and are off to mexico this year. Please tell me it wont be as expensive as aruba?
Should we stay in the cliff or is it easy enough to go to the cliff for a few drinks
Should we upgrade our room that would be about €300 for the 10 days

Re: first timer questions?
It's quiet that time of year.
Prices are similar to those in the US.
It's the tropics, it won't rain for long (usually), unless a storm blows through.
It's very easy to get to the cliffs, route taxi (shared ride) is about $2.50 US each way pp, private taxi <$10 if you negotiate. Many of us split visits between the two, there is a much different vibe. With 10 days, you could do 6 on the beach and 4 on the cliffs.

Re: first timer questions?
Are you looking at a standard room at Coco? I haven't been (yet) but have read countless recommendations to upgrade to at least a superior room, and if within your budget, a jr suite. Negrilonestop.com will have a sale for Coco that comes out Feb. 1st. It will give a big savings (like close to 50% off high season rates). Or, are you already working with a travel agent?
