Stay in a trusted seven-mile hotel for $17 per night through November!

Not sure of every detail, but the most affordable rooms at Negril Yoga Center are 20 dollars, and there's a 15 percent off coupon on negril.com -- that's 17 bucks a night! Might have to share a bathroom but a good deal at less than 100 per week.

I hear this place has a lot of BIG crabs crawling around, which is something a little different. Something about the location.

A friend of mine stayed there once a few years back...it was uh well....I guess bare minimum would be a good description. And yes she did not have a bathroom..I'm trying to remember but I think she shared some communal outdoorsy bathroom/shower thing. It is really dense and tropical in there...it was very easy to get lost trying to get around in there, LOTS of foilage. For those that don't mind living at one with nature it would be perfect!

This is across the street from Negril Beach Club Condos just down a bit. I have been inside when they were 40 each high season. Very basic but meets the style of the very folks that made Negril famous. Security was sufficient in there also.

i think SK means hippie communal, lol .... i would LOVE to stay there -- what an experience. There was a boardie a few years back who wrote some great reports, vinny from philly. He loved Negril Yoga Center but graduated to the Blue Castle, where he has gone like the past five times in a row, I think ....

There are many solo women travelers that also rave about it, that's why i checked it out. I did mean hippie, communal, basic serene beauty loving, low maintenance folks.
Everything that I am Not lol... but that place does remind me of exactly how Negril as a tourist destination began.

Four people sharing only 20 dollars for room (they dont charge extra) -- that's five bucks a piece! You can't beat this deal if you're on a budget .... Your room costs less than a portion of roadside jerk chicken!

Sounds like my first stay on the beach at the sunbeam cabins. $6 a night and a shared toilet, and copper pipe with cold water shower thing that drained on to the beach. Been there done that wouldnt change it, but not doing it again.lol
