    Your Favorite Lobster Dish

We have another trip to Negril coming up soon. This is a trip of firsts: first time to Negril twice in one year, and first time in Negril when lobster is in season. I can't believe this will be our fourth trip and I still have not had caribbean lobster! (one of many selling points to +1 to get him to agree to go again this year, btw)

So, what is your favorite lobster dish?

And where is your favorite place for lobster?

Lots of great places for lobster in Negril. Your question made me think back on a place called Pete's, long since gone, it was located on the beach at the end of One Mile Road, down past Fisherman's Club (also long gone). It would take forever for the food to come, but it was some of da best! RIP Pete.

last feb i finally broke down and purchased a precooked lobster from the vendors on the beach, it was great, they provide you with a paper plate and split it in half with a squirt of lime and a fork, after that i had fresh cooked lobster on the beach almost every day, cost was 500 ja for one or 3 for 1200 ja, i will be feasting on them again in feb, soon come

You can't beat "plain old" grilled lobster from a variety of places but my favorite lobster "dish" is the lobster thermidor made by Teddy at Teddy's Hideaway at the Blue Cave Castle.
Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. KJV Psalm 68:4

    Yum....

Coco- I imagine lobster at Ivans is to die for. Everything else is, lol. I've had their seafood linguine...i bet they throw lobster in it now.

Ras - Yes, Lobster Thermidor! I came across some FB/internet quiz about a bucket list, and Lobster Thermidor was on it. Teddy's is a place I have been wanting to check out. Thx!

Phil/Cindy - Thanks for the pictures. They do speak for themselves. Now I have my Tuesday night planned out. Sunset, negril.com webcast and grilled lobster. Maybe a few red stripes thrown in
