Great advise everyone, Thanks...Limo Mon represent Detroit nice-Waterford here....I like the idea of hiring a driver, drinking buddy for the night maybe the first few days im there...Can u recommend anyone? Obviously Im down for whatever and just looking for a good time and to meet new people.....

As one single guy to another, you are going to have a blast!! I went solo for the first time in April and it changed me....the experience, the incredible people I met, and of course Jamaica itself. The cool thing about Negril is, you can be plugged in to all the action, or dropout and have that important quiet time to yourself.

Ahhhh.....Marley!!!! One of the "incredible" folks I spoke of!!!!! I sure miss everyone. I finally am getting my post divorce finances and emotional state in order and am trying to make it in December. But, the airfare is super high and I am trying to sneak down without missing any time with my son....especially around the holidays. BTW, the day we painted the bricks at Travelers, you guys took some pics. I painted my boys name on a brick, thinking he would never get to see it, but thanks to you having your camera....I showed it to him the other day. He was so excited and got a huge smile on his face when he saw his nickname.."lil budda" on a brick. I sincerely mean it when I say my trip in April was magical and will NEVER be forgotten....and it is mostly because you, Ninja, and all the other folks I bonded with. Friends for life in my book!!!

Also, finally got my laptop rolling again and uploaded some of my pics. I PROMISE(I know I keep saying this) that I will work on a trip report that will show you that week through my eyes. It won't be at a "Clarity and Hubbyman" level of writing..lol....but I will try not to bore. I hope all my friends that read this are well!!!!! Peace!!! Drumma

Drummer ur post sounds familiar. I finished a messy divorce this spring and summer is my busy time for work so this trip is going to be my first time to get away. After posting and reading on here I think I made the right choice of where to go to get away for a little bit. 3 more days I can barely stand the wait.

We loved our time with you too drummerboy, so happy to have connected on that reach and was so excited when I heard you might be coming back in December....I will keep my fingers crossed for that....but you BETTER be there next April for sure.
I am sooooooooooooooo glad you got to show your lil budda his brick, how great! So happy I was able to provide those photos for you. That day was very special for many of us!
And I can't wait to read your report so you better write it! lol

Tigersfan, what they say it true. You will have no problems being a single guy. The story you are writing or living in Negril is a choose your own adventure...lol!! I really needed some time to get my head together and sort some things out, far away from the influences I had here at home. I was determined to break out of my comfort zone, challenge myself, and grow as a person. Jah and Jamaica will see you through, man. You planned the right trip. Any questions from one single guy to another, I would be happy to answer or at least try to. Peace!!
